Best & Cheapest Vegas Hotels:  unless you are a frequent Las Vegas visitor as we are (we are talking many times each year!) you may be confused as to which hotels are the cheapest but still good, and overall about where to find true Las Vegas hotel deals.

That’s why we are now compiling a list of best, cheapest Las Vegas hotels as well as where to find the best Las Vegas hotel deals.  For now we’ll be writing a short summary and, in the coming weeks, we’ll be writing details on each (and more).

The very best hotels in Las Vegas (we are focusing on the main areas for now, but we will expand this) are Bellagio (the very best also with regards to service but not with regards to pools, for example), Wynn and the Encore, Palazzo and the Venetian, followed by Aria, Cosmopolitan, Vdara, the Hotel and Mandalay Bay, Mirage, Treasure Island (TI), MGM Grand, Caesar’s Palace (only the remodeled larger rooms).

The cheapest hotels and resorts in Vegas: generally speaking, besides Quad, you have Circus Circus and  the Excalibur, (click on the underlined name for details) but it is absolutely one of the dirtiest, smokiest, noisiest places you can find. Ironically, many families stay at this hotel!  They have a great gym, a low resort fee including the use of their great gym, and a larger than average pool area.  Quad (former Imperial Palace) is beating all the Strip rates but, in 2015, is still only ok if you are going to Vegas to get drunk and party all night long, in which case the location will be just perfect for you.  They have a great gym, a low resort fee including the use of their great gym, and a larger than average pool area.

The Vegas hotels offering great valude deals through their Players Card are Mandalay Bay/the Hotel, Mirage, Rio (and many Caesars Entertainment Vegas hotels).  We will write honest, up-to-date reviews on each hotel through our new Which Vegas Hotel section.
